The document was signed by Special Associated Georgia into the New Silk Road, Finance Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze, Rector of Business and Technology University Mikheil Batiashvili and Director of Microsoft Georgia Nikoloz Doborjginidze.
Within the framework with the Memorandum, the Parties agree to cooperate in setting up a common electronic platform for member states of Silk Road, which could enable producers and suppliers to obtain usage of potential economic partners in order to conduct online activities in free competition.
The memorandum envisages development of an operational group that should facilitate the implementation within the project objectives. Furthermore, the Memorandum will cooperate with both technical and research and intellectual support or even to add to the involvement of Silk Road Member States, international organizations and donors.
“The concept of ??digital silk road is usually that Georgia becomes an electric hub for that region,” said the Minister of Finance.
