Roquette has bought US caramel colour supplier Sethness following successful shared ventures between the companies during France and China.
Family-owned Sethness can be headquartered in Illinois together with was founded in 1880. The corporation provides caramel colours for meal and beverage applications and each of its caramel classes is said to offer you unique characteristics and gains.
It is expected the closing with the acquisition will take place in another quarter of 2018.
Roquette CEO Jean-Marc Gilson claimed: “This acquisition will help accelerate Roquette’s increase plan in the food plus beverage market, and further commute value for our customers. I am very happy to successfully partner using Sethness in France and Chinese suppliers for years. Plant-based ingredients supplier Roquette has Eight,300 employees and an total annual turnover of over 3.3 billion.
