The agreement, which covers a2 Us platinum infant formula as well as other dietary products, originally provided for a minimum name of five years plus a running three-year term beginning this May.
But Synlait and a2 Milk have decided a two-year extension, effectively supplying for a new minimum word of five years that extends the agreement to a minimum of the end of July 2023.
Both companies also have committed to increasing the volume of infant formula over which Synlait already includes exclusive supply rights; boosting production capacity from Synlait; plus adopting pricing terms of which reflect their commitment to reasonably competitive market prices.
